The brief was bodega rustic with roots to Lanzarote. First thing was find two old doors, make a frame and paint to reflect Lanzarotes weather worn green doors to match the Bridesmaids green dress. Next find an old truck, bring in loads of hay bales and corks as confetti, because in fairness what else would be suitable. The large magestic tree was turned into a gallery of photos of the family, whilst guests were treated to drinks served in small jars and water personalised with the couples Intitals. Braces for the staff were sourced and fab serving boxes were on the list of things to make.
The Groom an avid cyclist provided a theme that ran through the wedding, from arrival with the grooms party cycling into the bodega on old vintage bikes, signs, to the small tags on blankets to stay warm. But the true theme was LOVE, with a fab glowing sign perched under the pepper trees, lit by chandeliers and a love seat. I loved creating every detail for this wedding from the signs, flower displays to kissing mints.
