Laura and Joe. What can I say. This was one of my most favourite weddings of all time. Casual, yet stunningly stylish in its simplicity and it’s capture of the real Lanzarote. Taking place at a beautiful rustic Bodega set in La Geria, everything oozed warmth and love. It was a small intimate affair of 40 people. The menu designed for this wedding included fresh mulberry Royal Kir cocktails and a pimp your own cava bar. Traditional Spanish music entertained whilst people enjoyed the amazing food served by this unassuming bodega. Rustic Tapas boards as entree were followed by a choice of Local Fish or Pork Ribs (Secreto). The brides exquisite dress was sourced in Northern Ireland, whilst the boys wore subtle blue suits. The colour scheme, white and soft accents of blue included bouquet of thistles, lisianthums, delphiniums, white lunar buds and eucalyptus. The confetti, in keeping with local sources were leaves from golden wattle trees of Lanzarote. The setting did not disappoint, granting us one of the most amazing sunsets over the zoccos. The images captured by the talented Aljosa Petric tell the story of the magical day.
