About This Project

There are always some weddings that stand out more than others and this was one of them. Margaret Mary and Seppi chose the theme for their wedding based on Seppi the groom’s love for nature and hunting. We also went for a crisp green, white and gold palette which complimented this theme well. The day itself was an absolute scorcher, well into the 40’s, so a good choice on the whites as it kept things cool.  The lovely bridesmaids wore stunning white dresses, whilst the bride was adorned with a timeless off white gown by Israeli Designer, Liz Martinez sourced from the White Gallery in County Down.

Taking place at the stunning Amura Restaurant, Puerto Calero, the day was set on being chic, yet with this lovely couple involved there was also handfuls of fun.  The ceremony designed by the couple included some gorgeous elements like a passing of the rings to be blessed by all the guests and a hand fasting ceremony.   White and green bouquets and arrangements filled the area, whilst a confetti bar and small bags of gold cut paper ensured the confetti shots were spot on.  Being located in a Prestigious Marina also meant opportunity for some idyllic nautical captures on the boats and surroundings, whilst the guests sipped on cava and danced to the soulful tunes of the band.

A top table count of 13 meant everything was on a grand scale.  A rustic wood backdrop, filled with fairylights framed the wedding party.  Their enchanted garden table was aglow with gold candlesticks and olive and eucalyptus branches, whilst the guest tables were given tree names for distinction and dressed with pepper tree branches and centre pieces of oversized palm leaves and gladioli.  A gorgeous naked wedding cake sat proudly in the centre of the room embellished with rosemary, lavender, lisianthum and fresh blueberries.

The cutting of the cake and first dance all took place under the stars and fairy lights that gently lit the outside terrace on what became a typical summers night in Lanzarote . The many moments of this magical day were all captured by the talented Alejandro Diaz Photography.  As they say in Donegal…Ah it was class.
